My final project with be a portfolio for my web design business. My “company” is called: Unicornia graphics and design .

The purpose of my company is to work with small time businesses and others who want a simple, efficient, yet attractive website to advertise their own services and have an profession presence on the web.

Mission statement: “Our purpose is to provide attractive and simple design solutions for affordable prices.”

Our products will include:

• Single page splash

• Complete website 5-25 (non-dynamic) pages

• Blog customization

We also offer services such as:

• Maintenance

• Website assessment for accessibility

• Search engine optimization

I will have four links on the main page, Products, Who we are, Previous work, Why have a website?. And from the Products link, I will link to a page about the technologies we use and how we conform to w3C standards.

Out target audience is small time businesses and individuals that need a simple and attractive presence on the web. Features:

• Reasonable loading speed

• Multiple browser compatibility

• High usability

• Non-flashed based

• High readability

This portfolio website will adhere to the standards for w3c 1.0 XHTML and will have a high use of divs and eternal style sheets with some simple, non-annoying JavaScript.

To maintain this website, I will need to pay approximately:

• $10 for the domain name per year

• Virtual Private Server $180 per year
